COMPRESSOR WORKSHOPS

We conduct compressor workshops for our customers at our plant locations in Baltimore and Providence Forge. These workshops provide the attendees a broad comprehensive knowledge in the operation and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration compressors.

Fall 2008 Classes have been completed.

 Field Service on Semi-Hermetic Compressors
A Demonstration of ASAP testing system, Valve plates, Unloaders, Oil Pumps, Start-up procedures, Failures causes, Terminal Assemblies, Relief valves, Coupling alignment, Shaft seals, Teardown of failed compressor & analysis.

Compressor Teardown Night

 An attendee participation class covering shop safety; valve plates; unloaders, oil pumps, terminal assemblies.  The attendees will have  hands-on teardown of failed compressors & analysis.

 "Who/What Killed the Compressor?" 
 This class reviews system problems and various types of compressor failures. Failed compressors will be disassembled following classroom portion, with analysis. (Guest instructor: John Clark, CM, and technical coordinator of the International Compressor Remanufacturing Association). A demonstration of ASAP testing system will follow completion of class for anyone interested.
